Rental Sales Representative

Your role
As a Rental Sales Representative, you are one of our key points of contact at the location. You combine customer service with commercial, technical and administrative responsibilities. Your work also consists of:
Customer Service & Sales
- Advising customers on our breathing and working air rental equipment
- Preparing quotations and rental agreements
- Processing rental enquiries and orders
- Maintaining relationships with existing customers and prospects, together with the Account Manager
- Identifying and resolving complaints and discrepancies
Equipment & Logistics
- Issuing and receiving rental equipment when required
- Inspecting equipment upon collection and return
- Identifying discrepancies and informing customers accordingly
- Explaining the operation of machines and equipment
Administration & Organisation
- Processing rental orders, transfers and returns
- Preparing rental agreements for invoicing
- Organising transport
- Registering check-ins, check-outs and discrepancies
- Ensuring quality in accordance with ISO and VCA guidelines
About you
You are technically minded, customer-focused and organised. You enjoy taking responsibility and can easily switch between customer contact, administration and practical tasks. Even when things get busy, you keep a clear overview.
Your background includes:
- MBO-level education with technical knowledge and affinity
- A valid forklift certificate and VCA Basic certification, or willingness to obtain these
- Strong communication skills and good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- A customer-focused, accurate and solution-oriented approach
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with an eye for quality
- Flexibility regarding telephone availability and varying working hours
