Accountmanager & Teamlead Depot Groningen

Your role

As an Account Manager & Depot Lead, you combine commercial responsibility with leadership and operational oversight. You are responsible for expanding our market presence in the Northern Netherlands while also taking overall responsibility for the Leek depot and its team. Your work also consists of:

Sales & Business Development

Actively expanding our market share in the Northern Netherlands
Identifying and approaching new customers and sectors (hunting)
Developing and expanding relationships with existing customers (farming)
Advising customers on and renting out work and breathing air systems
Monitoring market developments and translating them into concrete business opportunities
Preparing, presenting and following up on quotations
Building strong, long-term relationships with customers
Handling customer complaints quickly and professionally

Leadership & Operations

Taking overall responsibility for the Leek depot
Supervising and supporting the depot team in their day-to-day activities
Organising team meetings and ensuring clear communication
Monitoring and improving operational processes
Ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with agreed procedures
Keeping an overview of depot activities and taking action where necessary
Maintaining close contact with our head office in Europoort-Rotterdam

About you

You are a commercially driven professional with a strong eye for opportunities. You know how to win new customers and build long-term relationships with existing customers. At the same time, you are comfortable taking responsibility for a branch and its team. You can easily switch between customer visits, sales activities, operational matters and leadership responsibilities.

Your background includes:

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of education and experience
A proven track record in commercial sales, particularly in winning new business
Experience in leading and managing a team
Strong technical understanding; experience with breathing and working air systems is a plus
VCA VOL certification
Strong communication skills and excellent command of Dutch, English and German, both spoken and written
A results-driven, independent and decisive approach
Able to work well under pressure and with a strong focus on finding practical solutions
